SPIN CYCLE

Welcome to our new blog, "WEEZIE & RUMBLE", where we showcase all of our fab used  recycled, embellished jeans, cry ask for help suggestions and discuss the latest fashion trends, of which I am virtually ignorant follow religiously. Having been in graphic design, advertising and marketing my entire career this is a departure for me but is full of possibilities and because I got tired of working for a lunatic.
In a nutshell, we recycle gently worn blue jeans and turn them into wearable art. After adding various cloth embellishments (also recycled) and doing a bit of stenciling, we relaunch them into Fashionspace, hoping they end up being worn by hip Fashionauts. Because we find our recycled jeans in all sorts of interesting places (such as thrift and charity stores, as well as pairs that have been donated by people who feel sorry for us kind-hearted friends) they come in all sizes and styles. Regular or skinny leg, bell bottoms, boot cut, size 2 to size 14...anything that catches our eye on our exotic buying trips to Salvation Army, Goodwill, or Burt's Thrifty Nickel. Similarly, no two designs will ever be exactly alike, because we either ran out of the groovy fabric we found in someone's attic, or we just got tired of looking at the same thing and wanted to try something new. So when WEEZIE & RUMBLE hits the big time and you see someone wearing a pair, please don't expect to find that pair again somewhere. We have plans, as it happens, to eventually offer a custom-embellishing service to customers who send us their own jeans, and if you think this is a good idea, please let us know in the comment section. Right now, though, we are feverishly working to fulfill our very first order and all of our resources are tied up right now because there are only two of us.
Please continue to check back with us and feel free to offer your suggestions, advice, opinions, fashion tips, recipes or anything else that you think might be of interest; all encouragment is greatly appreciated.

Fashionably yours,
Weezie & Rumble
